The German-Korean concert pianist Caroline Fischer enrolled in the Julius Stern Institute for very gifted students at the University of Arts Berlin at the age of nine. When she was 16, she began her studies at the Academy of Music „Hanns Eisler“ Berlin and continued studying in Mannheim, Geneva, Oslo and Hamburg i.a. with the professors Pascal Devoyon, Paul Dan, Einar Steen-Nøkleberg, Georg Sava, Ulrich Eisenlohr. She completed all nine of her degrees (8 Diplomas, 1 Master’s degree) with outstanding achievement: Künstlerische Ausbildung (artistic studies), Klavierpädagogin (piano lecturer), Kammermusik für Pianisten und Ensembles, Liedgestaltung (chamber music for pianists, ensembles and song interpretation), Master in Music Performance (solo piano), Solistische Ausbildung/Konzertexamen (concert exam) and Diplôme de soliste. Ms Fischer graduated also with distinction in humanities studies – cultural and media management as well as event management.

The pianist has given numerous concerts and recitals in Europe, Asia, South and Central America and the USA and has performed in major concert halls, such as the Philharmonie Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Ruhrfestspielhaus Recklinghausen, Theater Wolfsburg, Musikverein Wien, Wiener Konzerthaus, Carnegie Hall New York, Teatro Municipal de Las Condes Chile, Teatro Nacional de Costa Rica, Casa de la Música de Quito, Ecuador, Teatro Centro de Arte de Guayaquil, Ecuador, Teatro Nacional Benjamín Carrión Mora de Loja, Ecuador, Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío Nicaragua, Seoul Arts Center, Kumho Art Hall Seoul, Woori Financial Art Hall Seoul, Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Xinghai Concert Hall, National Theatre Bangkok, Thailand Cultural Centre. Fischer has performed as a soloist with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Korean Chamber Ensemble, Berliner Symphoniker, Baden-Baden Philharmonie, Neues Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Orquesta de Cámara de Valdivia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Loja, Orquesta Filarmónica Municipal de Guayaquil, and National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador, amongst others, as well as at the International Steinway Festival, the EXPOs in Hanover and Yeosu, the Beethoven Festival Bangkok, the Korean Festival Seoul, and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. She has also given chamber music concerts with members of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Berliner Symphoniker, Iceland National Symphony Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra etc. Caroline gave concerts during the state visits of the former German Federal President Roman Herzog to South Korea and Mongolia and performed in Bellevue Palace Berlin for former Federal Chancellor Helmut Kohl and former Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.

She has won 39 prizes and awards (first prizes, gold medals, audience awards) in national and international competitions: “Jugend musiziert” Federal Competition, International Steinway Piano Competition Berlin, International Queen Sophie Charlotte Competition, International Competition for Young People Berlin, Köster Classic Award-Klassik Radio Hamburg, Lions Club Mannheim Music Competition, Förderpreis Berliner Salon, Vienna Grand Prize Virtuoso, American Protégé International Concerto Competition, On Stage International Classical Music Competition, Quebec International Music Competition, Classic Superstar Award and received 16 scholarships from renowned foundations: i.a. Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Akademie der Künste Berlin, Hans und Eugenia Jütting Stiftung, Lutz – E. Adolf Stiftung für Hochbegabte, Kölner Gymnasial- und Stiftungsfonds, Franz Grothe Stiftung, PE-Förderkreis, Gotthard-Schierse-Stiftung, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now.

Her debut CD “Caroline Fischer Piano” (2006) her second CD “Lisztomagia” (2009) as well as her 3rd and 4th albums “Pearls of Classical Music” (2017) and “Piano Passion” (2017) were released by GENUIN classics. Her 5th CD “Magical Christmas Fantasies” will be released in November 2023.

In addition to her active performing career, Caroline Fischer is the artistic director, jury chairwoman and organizer of the “Rising Stars Grand Prix” – International Music Competition Berlin, which is held annually in the Philharmonie Berlin as well as the chairwoman of the Kulturclub Berlin e.V. She was the assistant piano teacher to Prof. Einar Steen-Nøkleberg at the Norwegian Academy of Music Oslo and was appointed youngest “visiting artist“ at the Chulalongkorn University Bangkok. She has given regularly masterclasses at the Silpakorn University Bangkok and the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music Bangkok. Ms Fischer has been also invited to give masterclasses at music universities in China, Thailand, Brunei, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Denmark, Indonesia, Laos and Mongolia.

Caroline speaks German, English, Korean, French and Spanish. In addition to her acclaimed musical career, Caroline Fischer is an entrepreneur, model and cultural manager.
